This place suits me perfectly with comfy beds, free wi-fi, and a cozy bar/lounge area. The staff was incredibly helpful, printing my boarding pass on my first stay. I'll definitely return for another holiday!

Had an awesome trip with friends! We rode the funicular up to Fløien for amazing views and checked out the Bryggens Museum and Norwegian Fishing Village Museum. The hotel had a great fitness center and offered a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. Definitely recommend this spot for a fun getaway with buddies!

However, I did have a frustrating experience when the housekeeping missed some items in our room, which was a bit disappointing.

The Thon Hotel Orion features beautifully decorated communal areas and cozy lounge spaces, making it an inviting retreat for seniors. I particularly enjoyed the warm fireplace and relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploration.

The luggage room felt very insecure during our stay. I was uncomfortable leaving my belongings there, as anyone could get access by simply buzzing in. Additionally, our early morning excursion was stressful since the breakfast buffet didn't start until 7 AM. I quickly grabbed two Wasa crackers for our tour, but the hostess treated me like a criminal, forcing me to surrender them. This poor interaction spoiled what could have been a lovely experience.

My stay at Thon Hotel in Bergen was good! The breakfast buffet impressed with a wide selection, and the staff offered warm hospitality. The room felt slightly cramped, but the cleanliness and modern decor more than made up for it. A lovely experience overall.

Exceptional breakfast with diverse options, including freshly made Mediterranean dishes. Enjoyed the spacious superior room with a beautiful harbor view and the luxury of comfortable bedding. However, the room was a bit warm upon arrival, which made it less comfortable until the windows could be opened. Accessibility was great, but the location's quietness at night was slightly offset by its distance from vibrant areas.

The location was fantastic for our family trip! We enjoyed a fun ride on the Fløien funicular, taking in the breathtaking views of Bergen. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the staff were welcoming, making our stay a real delight while traveling with the grandchildren.

In my wife’s opinion, an onsite play area for kids would be fantastic.

A Group's Good Experience

The staff was friendly, always there for any help we needed, like when they offered us umbrellas on a rainy day! And when we had to leave really early on our last day, they prepared a breakfast for us to take away, which was a thoughtful touch.

Sure, it wasn’t the cheapest place around, but it was still very acceptable for what we got.

The hotel is ideally located, making exploring easy, and the amenities such as the clean, comfortable room and inclusive meals add great value. However, the staff could have managed the complimentary area better since it often lacked supplies, and the room felt slightly cramped with limited storage.
